On Wednesday, head coach Adam Gase confirmed cornerback Xavien Howard is week-to-week with a knee injury he sustained last Sunday against the Buffalo Bills. The injury occurred on the play in which Howard intercepted Bills quarterback Josh Allen for the second time.Howard did not practice on Wednesday. He missed one snap against the Bills, but was able to finish the game with the issue.“He’ll be week to week,” head coach Adam Gase said. “We’re going to have to see how it goes the rest of the week. He was an undrafted free agent out of The Citadel (undergraduate) and the University of Miami (graduate) and had bounced between the Jaguars’ practice squad and active roster all season. He was waived this week to make roster space for running back Leonard Fournette who completed a suspension.
